KVKK Information Notice
At Tech Fabrika we take the protection of your personal data seriously.
This notice is prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, the legal grounds relied on and the methods used, when you visit our website, fill in our contact forms, request a demo or presentation, ask for a project conversation, or apply for a role.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your personal data may be processed on the grounds set out in Articles 5 and, where relevant, 6 of the KVKK.
In this context, processing may rest in particular on:
- being expressly provided for by law
- being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract
- being mandatory for the controller to meet a legal obligation
- being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right
- being necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller, provided your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed
- your explicit consent, where required
Where processing rests on explicit consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Your personal data may be collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through:

6. Transfer of Personal Data
To the extent required by the purposes of processing and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be shared with:

Transfers take place only to the extent necessary and with appropriate technical and administrative measures in place.
7. Transfer Abroad
Because Tech Fabrika operates internationally and some of the technology services we use run their infrastructure abroad, your personal data may where necessary be transferred outside Türkiye.
Any such transfer will be carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and the related secondary legislation.
Where required, appropriate safeguards will be applied or your explicit consent will be obtained.
8. Retention
Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing and for the statutory retention periods set out in the applicable legislation.
When the purpose no longer applies and no other legal ground requires retention, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
9. Your Rights Under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed
- request information if it has been processed
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose
- know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
- request correction if the data is incomplete or incorrect
- request deletion or destruction where the conditions of the KVKK are met
- request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties the data was transferred to
- object to a result reached against you solely through automated analysis
- claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing
10. How to Apply
You may send requests relating to your rights under the KVKK to Tech Fabrika.

- contact details
- information helping to verify your identity
- the subject of your request
- explanations and, if any, supporting documents
Applications are assessed and concluded within the periods set out in the KVKK and the related legislation.
11. Data Security
Tech Fabrika aims to apply appropriate technical and administrative security measures to prevent personal data from being:
- processed unlawfully,
- accessed by unauthorised persons,
- lost,
- altered,
- disclosed.
Access control, authorisation, secure communication, log management, backup and information security processes may be applied to this end.
12. Changes to This Notice
This notice may be updated in line with changes in legislation or in the personal data processing activities of Tech Fabrika.
The current version is published on the Tech Fabrika website.
